Optimal System Settings: Print

User ID / Password Constraints

  • Please use the "Forgot your User ID or Password?" link if you have forgotten your User ID or Password. Do not share your User ID and Password - this is a a violation of the Terms of Use and could result in deactivation of your access. Multiple users within your organization are encouraged: please contact your Dealer Administrator or local regional administration support team for set up.
  • Please note, it is required that all passwords:
    • Contain a minimum of six characters.
    • Combine letters and numbers.
    • Must not contain spaces and/or special characters.

Browser Version

  • Canon PartnerNet functions best with Internet Explorer version 8.0 or higher and Firefox.
  • Note: When accessing Canon PartnerNet for the first time on a new browser, please be sure to access the site through the following URL: https://canonpartnernet.cusa.canon.com/cpnet. Utilizing a different URL from another browser may affect page display due to lack of cookie information.

Web Cookies

  • Canon PartnerNet utilizes "web cookies" (in select areas) in order to function properly. Please be sure to accept cookies prior to accessing the Canon PartnerNet site. Please do not configure your browser to reject cookies as it could interfere with site functionality. We also recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. To upgrade, please visit the Microsoft Windows download site for Internet Explorer:

Screen Resolution

  • We recommend using a "Screen resolution" resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels; this will ensure less scrolling within certain pages and easier readability.

Pop-up Blockers

  • Please turn off your pop-up blockers prior to accessing the Canon PartnerNet site.  Several pages, including item / supply and accessory "Find" pages, utilize pop up windows for item selection.

Site Performance

  • Speed will vary according to network / server variables and your system configuration.

Print Settings

  • If you're having difficulty printing using the "Print Friendly" button, try adjusting these settings.
    • "Portrait" printing:
      1. Select "Page Setup" from the "File" menu.
      2. Adjust the "Left" and "Right" Margin to 0.25
      3. Click "OK"
    • "Landscape" printing:
      1. Select "Page Setup: from the "File" menu
      2. Select "Landscape" under "Orientation"
      3. Click "OK"

Email Configuration

  • To ensure that Canon PartnerNet Email Blasts reach their intended audiences, please set up your email account to allow emails to enter your inbox from Canon's domain name (addresses are listed below). This will minimize the risk of the email routing to the intended end users spam mailbox.
  • Note - Canon PartnerNet performs security checks every quarter against the registered email address. Should a delivery attempt fail three or more times, your account and access may e subsequently disabled. To avoid any interruption in service, please add the above referenced email addresses to your address book.
  • If the information contained in Canon PartnerNet confirmation emails (Order Confirmation, Shipping Notification) does not align properly, please configure your email to display using a fixed width font such as "Courier".

Page Display Difficulties

  • If you're having difficulty with displaying the Canon PartnerNet Home page or displaying other pages, your "Internet Option" Security settings may need to be adjusted.  If you experience difficulty, log off Canon PartnerNet and make the adjustments listed below (note that these instructions apply to Internet Explorer only).
    1. Select"Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
    2. Select the tab marked "Advanced", and scroll to the "Security" section.
    3. Clear the checkboxes labeled "Do not save encrypted pages to disk."
    4. Click "OK"
    5. Open Internet Explorer

Downloads

  • If you're experiencing difficulty or receive error messages when opening downloaded files from Canon PartnerNet, please follow the steps below.  If you continue to experience difficulty, please contact the Canon PartnerNet support team using the "Email Us" functionality.
    • Temporary Internet Files - Temporary Internet Files saved to your disk may interfere with opening files that are downloaded from Canon PartnerNet.  Please logout of Canon PartnerNet before adjusting the settings via the steps below:
      1. In Internet Explorer, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options."
      2. Click on the tab marked "General."
      3. Click "Delete Files."
      4. This will cause a pop up box to open; check box "Delete all offline content" and click OK.
      5. Before closing, click "OK" at the bottom of the Internet Options window.
      6. Close your browser and log back into Canon PartnerNet.
    • Opening file vs. saving file to disk - Depending on your system configurations, it may be better to "save" the file prior to opening the file.  After saving, launch the application and open your file.  If you continue to experience difficulty, please contact the Canon PartnerNet support team using the "Email Us" functionality.
